The Lucky Ones...
A Riding Program for Mothers & Daughters

When my daughter started riding horses I expected that I would be relegated to the sidelines just like any other sport your child participates in. Instead, I started riding with her, and the connection, relationship, and mutual respect that unfolded has become the basis of our relationship for over 15 years. When I think about why my daughter and I have such a close relationship, how we navigated the awkward tween and teen years, and the gift that our closeness is in my life, I know I have horses to thank. I simply feel lucky.

I believe every mother-daughter relationship can benefit from some time spent together in the presence of horses. The opportunity to connect over something that is either new to both of you, or perhaps to return to something you both loved in the past, is priceless. The cultivated time this program creates for you to be together, not just as parent and child, but as learners, is something you will cherish. Whether you're a mom introducing your daughter to the world of horses or a pair reconnecting over a shared childhood love, this program invites you both into a gentle, joyful, and confidence-building journey.

Each week, you and your daughter will spend intentional time together—on the ground and in the saddle—learning about horsemanship, strengthening your communication, and experiencing the powerful partnership that comes from working with horses.

This is not a competition-focused experience; it's a heart-forward opportunity to build a bond that goes far beyond the arena.

"Watching my daughter's confidence grow each week was amazing. She is shy and usually takes a while to warm up to new things. Not the horses! They created a new portal for our relationship and I will forever be grateful." - S. O'Malley

The Legacy Riders...

Getting Back in the Saddle

A program for horse lovers coming home to the barn.

You never forget the feeling.

The smell of leather, shavings, and hay.

The steady breath of a trusted horse, the quiet rhythm of grooming after a ride.

If you grew up riding and life pulled you away, you’re not alone—and it’s not too late.

The Legacy Riders is a gentle re-entry program designed for adults who once lived and breathed horses, and now feel the pull to return—on their own terms. This is not about ribbons or rankings. It’s about rediscovering the joy, connection, and confidence that horses brought you all those years ago.

We are a supportive, judgment-free barn where you’re never “too old” or “too out of shape” to begin again. We offer thoughtfully-paced riding tailored to your experience and comfort so you can rebuild skills and muscle-memory, with grace and laughter. We offer a community of like-minded riders who understand what it means to come back home to horses

Whether it’s been five years or forty-five years, you still belong in the saddle.

Let this next chapter with horses be softer, slower, and deeply fulfilling.
